The Kansas DUI Impact Center is always scheduling school assemblies and classroom presentations for under-age drinking and impaired driving prevention especially during spring break, prom, graduation, and summer vacation season. We offer our services to schools throughout Kansas at no cost.
We encourage you to partner with the Kansas DUI Impact Center to educate our youth on the dangers of drug and alcohol use, because fewer than 50% of Kansas youth report that their parents have talked to them about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco or other drugs in the last year.
Kansas ranks 5th in the nation for highest rates of under-age drinking, and car crashes are the #1 killer of American teens. There is a high prevalence for alcohol use among students celebrating spring break, prom, graduation, and summer fun. We encourage you to schedule a presentation at your school to increase safety and save lives.
Let us inform your students in a positive presentation that will consist of underage drinking and driving under the influence (DUI) education and prevention, and a firsthand account from a DUI victim speaker who will tell their story about how an impaired driving crime tragically affected their life.
Under-age drinking and impaired driving affect us all, they are social problems that require a collective community based solution. Feel free to call or email to schedule your presentation today!
